Atlanta has always been known as a cultural mixing pot to its many residents. Amongst spiraling skyscrapers lie many different sectors of this great city, all dedicated to citizens originating from a myriad of places. Of the most prominent of cultures in Atlanta are Asian Americans. From the many places offering Asian cuisine, down to local events and other Asian American sponsored things, their influence on the diversity of Atlanta is certainly thriving.

There are many places in Atlanta to visit which offer authentic Asian American cuisine. From Chinese restaurants to Japanese steakhouses and even a few Korean and Thai places, business is booming in Atlanta for Asian Americans. Aside from the dining options, there are also many Asian markets in Atlanta, offering wares from many different Asian nations all over the world for anyone to purchase and use.

Indeed, with a population of over 4.3 million people, Atlanta is ranked 5th in the country for population. Of those 4.3 million people, over 134,000 (or 3.1) are Asian Americans. That number continues to grow every year as more and more Asian Americans come to the U.S.A in search of jobs and other opportunities, such as the need to achieve a higher education.
