Atlanta, Georgia is one of the most diverse cities in the United States. Located in the South, the Atlanta metropolitan area boasts a population of over five million people. While there are people from all over the world whom live in Atlanta, many people are surprised to find out there is also a strong Asian population; whose culture permeates the city in a fun and vibrant way.

Atlanta, Georgia houses a Chinese Cultural Center that is Chinese Culture Center that is owned and operated by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office.Never heard of this before? The city also hosts the ‘Atlanta Asian Film Festival’ every year in October and it highlights the celebration of Asian American cultures through educational and informative films in an entertaining context for the whole community.

Situated right in the northeast of the city is Atlanta Chinatown Square, where locals go to enjoy sumptuous Asian food, shopping, Asian arts and crafts and socializing. There is currently a mall being built in the location that will be part of the International Village project, which will further showcase how diverse Atlanta is in population.
